The tools I actually use, not the ones that look good in a list. Config-as-code where possible — most of this is reproducible from my dotfiles.
// Operating System
- NixOS ↗Declarative, reproducible, occasionally infuriating — the whole system lives in nix-dots.
- Arch Linux (retired) ↗The previous era. The Hyprland rice is preserved in Arch-Dots for posterity. I used Arch, btw.
// Editor & Terminal
- Neovim ↗Own Lua config, no distribution. The config repo is the real dotfile flex.
- TmuxSessions survive everything. Prefix-key muscle memory is permanent now.
- JetBrains MonoThe font this site's headings are set in.
// Daily Stack
- Java + Spring BootThe day job: OMS backends, Kafka pipelines, Redis caches.
- RustThe night job: CLIs, proxies, crates. Fast, correct, and fun to argue about.
- TypeScriptFor everything with a browser attached.
// Tools & Services
- Git + GitHub55+ public repos and counting.
- DockerContainers for everything that refuses to be a static binary.
- PostmanAPI poking, professional grade.
- Jira + ConfluenceWhere sprints live.
// Hardware
- Mac M4For office work.
- Custom PC buildRyzen 5 3600, RTX 2060, 16GB RAM for gaming and stuff.
- ASUS TUF Gaming laptop ↗Fan curves controlled by perfmode — my own Rust CLI, because the vendor tool doesn't run on Linux.
